Square models? They're pretty rare actually, not too many manufacturers make them. I'd say they're in the same boat as the octagons. Similar jump characteristics too, except they can be a little less responsive as the springs are quite far away on all sides, whereas on a similarly sized octagon the extra sides are angled in closer. I don't care for them and do not have too much experience testing square models.
