This goes back to the push versus pop. Some take more muscular strength to gain acceleration and some have springs that make a trampoline costs thousands that give way more free bounces with each jump. As everyone knows that knows me I like the ones that have more pop instead of push accelerations but I am in the minority. I bounce for totally different purposes that most of my customers that buy trampolines from me.
Gymnists usually like the opposite. They like more of a push rather than a pop. Adults that call me who want to use a trampoline to work out with almost always perfer a mat with a little more pop. Actually, a lot more pop. Free bounces is what the person that wants to work out wants to keep at a minimum.

With determininig the trampoline that is going to give the type of acceleration someone wants, weight and how linear the body is at the bottom of the bounce isthe most determinant. Then it is the frame and the springs next.

Getting a trampoline that can give you bounce and a workout can come cheap or you can pay several thousand for a model that gives you the fastest acceleration without too much ballistic impact at the bottom of the bounce where it hurts your back over time. Almost all feel great at first.

It's kinda like buying a sports car. Some can go to  0 to 60 in 7 seconds, others go there in 4 seconds, and super sports cars in less than 3 seconds. Some take more gas to 0 to 60 than other even if they get there at the same time. Same goes for tweaking the bounce experience. If you really aren't going to be as obsessed as I am making 3 websites on this topic, let me know on my quiz. don't feel when you call me we have to get into a boring detailed conversation about trampolining. It's all good. If you think my site sucks, let me know. I like negative as well as positive feedback.
