Sound Complaints: The louder ones usually have the most pieces and parts to put together. This is the thig that is most in common with all the noise complaints. Teh first thing I ask is how many pieces it has in the frame as peolpe get offended when I ask them what they paid for it. The last person got mad at me for saying he has a crappy trampoline and he told me how man years of enjoyment he got out of his 500 dollar trampoline. It's so funny that until they get on a smooth, nearly silent trampoline they realize how they have been jumping on a piece of ..... for all these years. But I am not the person who will say that. As long as its safe and you are having fun. Why not. It's just some people want a bounce that has less ballistic impact or more or less free bounces and they can be customized for someone that knows what they want.

If you cant afford an expensive trampoline the welds in teh frame joints might make some noise but its not like you are paying for quality in the first place. If you paid for an expensive trampoline that rattled and made a popping sound at teh bottom of the bounce, it would be different .

Some people want more flex in their frame and don't care about bouncing to the moon with the least flexing frame with more free bounces with ease. There are some high piece frame count trapolines that are quiet but that depends on the welding of the joints making up the frame. For example, robotic welding never makes noise. Only high qualiity hand welded frame joints are quiet.

Everyone is askgn why their frames that were quiet when they bought it are now making noise. Warping is caused from cold spots in the welded steel which makes them prone to warping. I urge people to inspect it as no two trampolines are welded the same. A computerised robotic welding of an entire trampoline frame would be way too expenaive for most residential users.

If noise is a concern, know if the joints in the frame are ridged or have the standard lock that most have. Also some springs are made of high carbon and others of low carbon steal. High carbon steal will always be noisier but always quieter if they are oiled. That is the sacrifice. You have to oil them every few months if you want that super quiet sound.
